Job summary

AECOM is seeking a skilled BIM Coordinator to lead execution planning and digital coordination across Building Services projects, embedding consistent standards and ISO19650 principles throughout design and construction.

You will mentor BIM teams, supervise clash detection and model coordination, and work with internal and external stakeholders across Defence, Health, Education, and Transit sectors, with hybrid work options and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Relevant technical qualifications or industry experience in Building Services, with a background in mechanical, fire or hydraulic disciplines highly regarded.
• Proven experience in BIM coordination and digital delivery within construction or infrastructure.
• Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit, with working knowledge of coordination platforms such as Revizto and Navisworks.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills for multidisciplinary coordination.
• Australian Citizenship preferred, with current defence clearance highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Lead BIM execution planning and digital coordination across Building Services projects.
• Direct clash detection and model coordination using BIM standards.
• Guide the evaluation and implementation of digital tools and emerging technology.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to BIM teams.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external consultants.
• Coordinate across Defence, Health, Education, Sport & Culture, Transit and Building projects.
