Job summary

Citi seeks a Digital Assets Production Support & SRE Lead to own the reliability of business-critical digital asset platforms, including blockchain-connected systems and high-throughput transaction processing infrastructure. Qualifications

• 6–10 years of hands-on experience in production support, SRE, or platform engineering.
• Deep expertise in incident management and systems-level troubleshooting.
• Monitoring and observability platforms experience (Splunk, Grafana, ELK, Prometheus, OTEL, or similar).
• Scripting in Python or Java for automation.
• Strong SQL skills for data investigation and diagnostics.
• Experience leading requirements gathering and scoping for large-scale tech programmes.
• Clear communicator across technical and business audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead production support and site reliability engineering for mission-critical digital asset platforms.
• Own end-to-end incident management from detection to post-incident review.
• Identify and define system enhancements to improve operational outcomes.
• Partner with product owners and engineering teams to surface support requirements.
• Evaluate risk exposures, security vulnerabilities, and mitigation strategies.
• Develop automation tooling to reduce manual work and speed incident resolution.
• Mentor junior engineers and raise overall engineering standards.
