• Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in business transformation, enterprise systems, information management or related field.
• Experience leading an enterprise platform as a business owner or business lead, including configuration decisions, release governance and vendor management.
• Record of delivering digital transformation or process improvement with ongoing value after implementation.
• Strong business analysis skills, including investment cases and benefits measurement against forecasts.
• Knowledge of AI governance, risk assessment, accountability, and evaluation of AI outputs.
• Ability to influence executives, staff and vendors across functions.
• Experience in education settings and familiarity with student information and learning management systems.
• Formal credential in change management, business analysis, or improvement methodology.

About the Role

Canberra Grammar School is seeking a Digital and AI Transformation Manager to lead work that makes a lasting difference to how we teach, work and serve our community.

You will identify where technology can improve teaching, administration and operations, then bring the right people together to make it happen. From building investment cases and redesigning processes to leading change and measuring results, you will ensure the School’s digital initiatives deliver real value.

You will also be the business owner of our major enterprise platforms and help shape the frameworks that guide responsible AI use. Working with leaders and teams across CGS, you will build capability, support adoption and turn innovation into sustainable improvement.

About You

You combine strategic thinking with the ability to deliver. You can see the potential in new technology, ask the right questions about risk and value, and bring people with you through change.

You will bring:

• A relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in business transformation, enterprise systems, information management or a related field
• Experience leading an enterprise platform as a business owner or business lead, including configuration decisions, release governance and vendor management
• A record of delivering digital transformation or process improvement that continues to deliver value after implementation
• Strong business analysis skills, including developing investment cases and measuring benefits against forecasts
• Working knowledge of AI governance, including risk assessment, accountability, human oversight and evaluation of AI outputs
• The communication and influencing skills to work effectively with executives, staff and vendors across different functions
• Sound judgement in managing confidential information, competing priorities and a small team
• Experience in a school, university or another education setting, including familiarity with student information and learning management systems
• Experience with Veracross, a comparable student information system, or a major learning management system as a business owner or implementation lead
• A formal credential in change management, business analysis, or a recognised improvement methodology
• Experience preparing investment cases, benefit reporting or assurance papers for an executive team or a governance committee
