Job summary

Corryong Health is seeking a Dietitian to enhance the nutritional status of its community, delivering clinical consultation, food service support, policy development, and staff education. You will collaborate with the Hospitality Department and Nursing staff to promote evidence-based nutrition across services.

The role requires Australian Qualifications Framework-compliant credentials (Bachelor of Dietetics preferred) and eligibility for Dietitians Association of Australia membership.

Qualifications

• Qualification compliant with Australian Qualifications Framework (e.g. Bachelor of Dietetics).
• Eligibility for Dietitians Association of Australia full membership.
• Interpersonal, report writing, and data skills preferred.
• Vaccinations and health checks as required by Victorian law and guidelines.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Dietician will enhance the nutritional status of the consumers of Corryong Health by utilising Nutrition and Dietetic skills in areas such as clinical consultation, food service, policy/procedures, and staff education. This position works closely with the Hospitality Department and Nursing staff.

ABOUT YOU:

You will have:

• Appropriate qualification compliant with Australian Qualifications Framework (e.g. Bachelor


• Dietetics). (preferable)


• Eligibility for full membership with the Dietitians Association of Australia Effective and highly developed interpersonal skills (preferable)


• Computer skills and the ability to provide relevant reports and statistics (preferable)


• Willingness to undertake annual vaccinations, drug and alcohol testing, fit testing and employment checks as required by Victorian law and Department of Health guidelines. (preferable)


• Demonstrate a commitment to the (Victorian Public Sector) VPSC Code of Conduct, Equal Employment Opportunity, Work Health & Safety and Cultural Diversity principles. (preferable)
