Job summary

GMG is seeking an experienced Dietitian to join a large multidisciplinary medical practice in New South Wales. You will conduct nutrition assessments and provide evidence-based dietary counselling to a diverse patient population, working closely with GPs and allied health professionals to achieve positive health outcomes.

The role offers a part-time arrangement with negotiable hours and a dynamic clinic environment.

Qualifications

• APD with Dietitians Australia
• Experience in a primary care/medical practice environment
• Patient-focused, approachable and an excellent communicator
• Able to work autonomously while also contributing to a multidisciplinary team
• Valid Working With Children Check (WWCC)
• Current CPR certification

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop individualized management plans.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Dietitian to join our large, established medical practice and become an integral part of our multidisciplinary healthcare team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Dietitian who enjoys working collaboratively with GPs, allied health professionals and patients to deliver individualised, evidence-based nutrition care.

The Role

As our Dietitian, you will provide professional nutrition assessment, counselling and management across a diverse patient population. You will have the opportunity to develop strong relationships with patients and work closely with our medical and allied health teams to support positive health outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

• Conducting comprehensive nutritional assessments and developing individualised management plans.
• Providing evidence-based dietary advice and education.
• Supporting patients with chronic disease, weight management and preventative health.
• Working collaboratively with GPs and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintaining accurate clinical records and meeting professional standards.
• Supporting health promotion and patient education initiatives.
• Building strong, ongoing relationships with patients and the broader practice team.

We are looking for someone who is:

• Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) with Dietitians Australia.
• Experienced in, or enthusiastic about, working in a primary care or medical practice environment.
• Patient-focused, approachable and an excellent communicator.
• Able to work autonomously while also contributing effectively to a multidisciplinary team.
• Hold a valid Working With Children Check.
• Hold current CPR certification.
