Nepean Speech & Occupational Therapy in Penrith seeks a Senior Dietitian to join a growing multidisciplinary team. You will lead nutrition assessments, develop tailored plans and contribute to innovative programs, with potential progression into Team Leader roles as the service expands.

The role offers flexibility, strong clinical supervision, and collaborative support to deliver outstanding client care across children, adolescents and adults.

Qualifications

• Current Dietitians Australia membership and eligibility to practise as an Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD).
• Registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
• NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working With Children Check, and current driver9s licence.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organisational and time management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments and dietary evaluations.
• Develop individualized nutrition plans and recommendations.
• Provide evidence-based nutrition intervention and education.
• Support clients and families to implement sustainable nutrition strategies.
• Complete high-quality clinical documentation and reports.
• Liaise with families, schools, GPs and other stakeholders.
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team and participate in supervision.

About the Role

Be part of an exciting period of growth as we expand our Dietician Team. This is more than a clinical role, it's an opportunity to help shape and grow our dietetic service, contribute to innovative ways of supporting clients, and work alongside a passionate multidisciplinary team. For the right candidate, there is also an opportunity to progress into a Team Leader role as the Dietician Team continues to grow.

You will provide evidence-based assessment and intervention to a varied caseload, with flexibility to tailor your workload based on your interests and experience.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Conduct comprehensive nutrition and dietary assessments.
• Develop individualised nutrition plans and recommendations.
• Provide evidence-based nutrition intervention and education.
• Support clients and families to develop sustainable and practical nutrition strategies.
• Complete high-quality clinical documentation, reports and recommendations.

• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Participate in regular supervision and professional development.
• Contribute to the development of dietetics programs, resources and group interventions.

About You

You will have:

Current Dietitians Australia membership and eligibility to practise as an Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD).
