Job summary

Cummins in Sydney, NSW seeks an experienced Workshop Supervisor to lead a team of technicians and apprentices within the Truck Bay. You will coordinate repairs, review plans, and ensure high-quality service while maintaining HSE compliance and achieving operational targets.

Qualifications

• Experience leading technicians and apprentices in a workshop setting.
• Strong communication and collaboration with customers and vendors.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities safely.
• Knowledge of health, safety and environmental policies and procedures.
• Experience delivering high-quality service and achieving KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor technicians and apprentices in the workshop.
• Coordinate workshop activities to meet timelines and safety standards.
• Review repair plans and provide technical guidance for diagnostics and repairs.
• Liaise with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders for service delivery.
• Monitor team performance and drive achievement of service KPIs.
• Prepare quotations, source materials, and coordinate workshop resources.
• Complete work orders, timesheets, warranty claims, and quality documents.
• Maintain compliance with HSE policies and report incidents to the Workshop Manager.
• Assist with hands-on repairs and back-end workshop tasks as needed.
• Demonstrate Cummins values, drive safe work practices, and develop talent.
