Job summary

Cummins Inc. in Carole Park, QLD, is seeking a talented Diesel Technician to perform repairs, rebuilds and routine maintenance on heavy diesel engines in a service workshop.

You will work under supervision, in a high-performing team, and contribute to engine diagnostics, disassembly, inspection and reconditioning. The role requires a qualified heavy diesel technician with basic workshop experience and a strong knowledge of heavy vehicle engines.

Qualifications

• Qualified Technician for heavy diesel equipment
• Basic workshop and field service experience required
• Basic knowledge of engine products
• Heavy Vehicle experience is essential

Responsibilities

• Complete repairs and maintenance of heavy diesel products
• Diagnose and repair engines
• Disassemble, inspect, and clean engines and components
• Engine rebuilding and reconditioning
• Maintain work area and tools for cleanliness and proper operation
• Assist with documentation such as work completed docs, timesheets, warranty claims and quality forms
