Job summary

MINLEY INVESTMENTS PTY LTD – Wetherill Park NSW is seeking a Diesel Motor Mechanic for Tara Forklift Services. This permanent full-time role requires AQF certificates, a minimum of five years’ experience, and strong diagnostic, hydraulic and electrical skills.

Qualifications

• AQF Certificate III in Forklift Technology or equivalent
• AQF Certificate III Mechanical Trade or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years' experience
• Prior servicing, diagnostics and hydraulic experience
• Demonstrated understanding of electrical systems

Responsibilities

• Diagnose problems with forklifts or equipment using scanning tools and computers
• Repair and replace defective parts per service manuals
• Complete scheduled services to meet customer requirements and safety
• Inspect and perform routine checks on key components (engine, steering, transmission, suspension, brakes)
• Repair damaged parts, units, malfunctions or deficiencies
• Test drive equipment to verify faults are rectified

Job Description

Tara Forklift Services has a vacancy for a Diesel Motor Mechanic at their business. This is a permanent, full-time position. Skills, Qualifications and Experience

• AQF Certificate III in Forklift Technology, or equivalent or relevant experience
• AQF Certificate III Mechanical Trade, or equivalent or relevant experience
• minimum 5 years' experience
• Prior servicing, diagnostics and hydraulic experience
• Demonstrated understanding of electrical systems

• 5) Diagnose any problems with the forklifts or equipment by using scanning tools and computers
• 6) Repairs and replacement of defective parts with reference to service manuals
• 7) Completing scheduled services to ensure customer requirements and service agreements are upheld and to ensure the safety of the customer’s equipment
• 8) Inspect and perform routine check-ups of key components including engine, steering, transmission, suspension, and brakes
• 9) Repair damaged parts, units, malfunctions or deficiencies with the forklift or equipment
• 10) Test drive equipment to see if the fault has been rectified

Remuneration

$75,000 to $85,000 per annum. Remuneration will reflect current market conditions and industry award rates. To be discussed with the successful applicant.
