Job summary

Stroker Mechanical in Tomago, NSW, is seeking a qualified Diesel/Heavy Vehicle Mechanic who isn’t afraid to get their hands dirty. We’re a busy, growing workshop and need another capable mechanic on the tools.

You will service and repair trucks, heavy vehicles and machinery, perform electrical fault finding, and handle both workshop and field work. Own basic tools and be able to work independently when required.

Qualifications

• Qualified Diesel/Heavy Vehicle Mechanic
• Ability to work independently and as part of a crew
• Own basic tools and a strong work ethic

We’re looking for a qualified Diesel Mechanic / Heavy Vehicle Mechanic who knows their stuff and isn’t afraid to get their hands dirty.

We’re a busy, growing workshop in Tomago and we need another good mechanic on the tools.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Servicing & repairs
• Trucks, heavy vehicles & machinery
• Electrical fault finding
• Workshop repairs and field work
• Plenty of variety – you won’t be stuck doing the same job every day

WHO WE WANT

We’re not looking for someone who needs their hand held.

We want someone who:

• Is a qualified Diesel / Heavy Vehicle Mechanic
• Takes pride in their work
• Turns up and gets the job done
• Can work independently when needed
• Works well with the rest of the crew
• Has their own basic tools
• Doesn’t leave the next bloke to clean up their mess
• HR/HC licence is a bonus, but not essential.
