Join the workshop team on a permanent basis working up to 76 hours per fortnight. Our mechanics work on the island at Kingfisher Bay Resort and in our mainland workshop in Urangan, Hervey Bay. The is a unique opportunity for a mechanic ready for an island change. This is position will require staying over on the island for part of the week. All living expenses are included when on the island.
The primary role for our mechanics is to provide mechanical repairs, maintenance and preventative maintenance to the company’s fleet of 4WD buses, resort vehicles and plant and equipment. The main goal is to keep our fleet fully operational so we can continue to provide all of our guests an amazing experience in comfort and safety as they venture around the island and enjoy the beauty of K'gari.
