Job summary

SeaLink K’gari (Fraser Island) Eurong, QLD is seeking a Public Areas Attendant to clean and maintain indoor and outdoor public areas across the resort. The role suits someone with a hands-on approach, strong attention to detail and the ability to meet the physically demanding nature of hotel environments.

This permanent part-time position offers a 10-day rostering system up to 76 hours per fortnight, with shifts mornings, afternoons and evenings.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role
• Committed to delivering brilliant customer experiences.
• Previous hotel or resort cleaning experience highly regarded
• Motivated, good attitude and ability to work effectively within a team
• Hold the right to live and work in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Clean indoor and outdoor public areas across the resort.
• Support the Housekeeping team with daily duties.
• Be available for a mix of shift times including mornings, afternoons and evenings.
• Maintain the presentation and cleanliness to high standards.

About us

With an unbeatable beachfront address on 75 Mile Beach, K’gari Beach Resort (formerly Eurong Beach Resort) is the hub for four-wheel-driving experiences along K'gari (Fraser Island's) east coast. This remote base is only accessible by 4WD and ignites a sense of adventure within a relaxed coastal escape. The resort includes newly renovated hotel accommodation, as well as a restaurant and bar, renowned Eurong Bakery and a general store, the expansive grounds include a relaxing swimming pool and bar.

The opportunity

Bring your hands-on approach to maintain the resort's presentation by cleaning the indoor and outdoor public areas at K'gari Beach Resort. The ideal candidate will have great attention to detail, an ability to keep up with the physically demanding nature of the role. and most importantly take pride in what they do!

This is a permanent part-time opportunity, working up to 76 hours per fortnight across a 10-day rostering system (4 days off). The successful candidate must be able to work a combination of shift times from early mornings, afternoons and evenings. This role will also require supporting the Housekeeping team when required with their daily duties.
