Job summary

Centurion is seeking a trade-qualified Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic to diagnose, fault-find and repair trucks, trailers and fleet vehicles. You will service brakes, suspension, steering and engines, and perform welding and basic auto-electrical work (12V/24V).

You will work across key systems with hands-on diagnostics and repairs. Rotating 7/7 roster with weekly pay, permanent full-time roles and a safety-first culture.

• Trade qualification as Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic.
• Experience on trucks, trailers and fleet vehicles.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills for mechanical and electrical systems (12V/24V).

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics, fault finding and repairs on trucks and trailers.
• Service and maintain brakes, suspension, steering and engines.

• Order, replace and maintain parts to standards.

This hands-on role involves maintaining and repairing a range of trucks, trailers, and fleet vehicles. You'll be responsible for diagnostics, fault finding, servicing, and mechanical repairs across key systems including brakes, suspension, steering, and engines. What You'll Be Doing

• 7/7 rotating roster - 7 day shifts, 7 days off, 7 night shifts, 7 days off.
• Perform diagnostics, fault finding, and repairs on trucks, trailers, and fleet vehicles.
• Service and maintain brakes, suspension, steering systems, and engines.
• Carry out welding and basic auto electrical work (12V/24V).
• Order, replace, and maintain parts according to quality and safety standards.
• Minimise fleet downtime by ensuring vehicles are roadworthy and fully operational.
