Job summary

Centurion is seeking an experienced Yard Team Leader for our Darwin team to oversee off-site receipting operations and lead a team of operators. The role requires ensuring freight is received, documented, and processed accurately, while maintaining safety and KPI performance.

You will coordinate with drivers, warehouse staff, and transport planners, ensuring proper labelling, barcoding, and updates in logistics systems. This is a permanent full-time position with focus on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience within a warehousing, transport, or logistics environment.
• Valid Australian Forklift Licence with practical operating experience.
• Strong understanding of logistics and transport operations.
• Experience using logistics systems and handheld scanning technology (SAP experience highly regarded).
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and time management skills.

Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Yard Team Leader to join our Darwin team. You will lead and support a team of operators, coordinate with key stakeholders, monitor KPIs, and maintain high standards of safety, compliance, and operational efficiency.
