Job summary

AAMG is seeking an experienced Diesel Fitter to join our Australian mining maintenance team. You will perform planned and preventative maintenance on heavy mobile mining equipment across Queensland operations, including diagnostics, fault-finding and field service.

A permanent role with a competitive hourly rate, a company ute, and strong safety commitments are on offer. Applicants should hold Australian-recognised Diesel Fitter / Heavy Diesel trade qualifications, current licence, and relevant

Qualifications

• Australian-recognised Diesel Fitter / Heavy Diesel trade qualification.
• HA Report, Standard 11, current driver’s licence.
• Experience with heavy mobile mining equipment and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Planned and preventative maintenance on heavy mining equipment.
• Diagnostics, fault finding and mechanical repairs.
• Field service and breakdown support.
• Equipment inspections and component replacements.
• Working closely with site maintenance teams.

What We're Looking For

• Australian-recognised Diesel Fitter / Heavy Diesel trade qualification
• HA Report
• Standard 11
• Current driver's licence
• Proven experience working on heavy mobile mining equipment
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding capabilities
• Relevant mining competencies and a commitment to safety
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A professional attitude and pride in your workmanship

Experience with CAT, Komatsu, Hitachi or Liebherr equipment will be highly regarded.
