Job summary

AAMG is seeking experienced Diesel Fitters to join on-site maintenance teams across Queensland's mining operations. You will service heavy mobile equipment, including CAT, Komatsu, Liebherr, Hitachi, and related gear, ensuring reliability, uptime and safety on site.

Key activities include planned and preventative maintenance, fault diagnosis and repairs, field service support and inspections. You’ll work with diverse maintenance crews and adhere to high safety and quality standards, with ongoing

Qualifications

• Australian-recognised Heavy Diesel / Diesel Fitting trade qualification.
• Current HA licence and Standard 11.
• Current driver’s licence.
• Proven experience maintaining and repairing heavy mobile mining equipment.
• Strong diagnostic, fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and preventative maintenance on heavy mobile mining equipment.
• Diagnose faults and perform mechanical repairs.
• Provide field service and breakdown support.
• Complete equipment inspections and component replacements.
• Work collaboratively with site maintenance teams.
• Maintain high standards of safety, quality and workmanship.
