Job summary

Autonomy & Asset Management Group in Bowen Basin is seeking an experienced High Voltage Electrician to join a leading mining operation. You will inspect, maintain, fault-find and repair HV systems on heavy mobile mining equipment, upholding safety and quality standards.

Work within the mobile maintenance team on a 12.5-hour, 7/7 roster with camp accommodation. Training and safety compliance are priorities, with opportunities to work on CAT, Komatsu or Liebherr equipment.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Electrotechnology or equivalent trade qualification.
• Current Queensland Electrical Licence.
• Current HV Switching qualification.
• Current CPR/LVR.
• Current Standard 11 and Coal Board Medical.
• Current Australian Driver's Licence.
• Proven HV electrical experience on heavy mobile mining equipment.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Experience with CAT, Komatsu and/or Liebherr equipment will be highly regarded.
• A strong commitment to safety, teamwork and quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing and repairing faults across high-voltage electrical systems.
• Maintaining inverters, converters, traction motors, HV batteries and associated components.
• Carrying out preventative maintenance, inspections and breakdown repairs.
• Using diagnostic software and specialised testing equipment to identify and resolve faults.
• Completing testing and maintenance in line with OEM specifications and site requirements.
• Maintaining accurate maintenance records and complying with site safety procedures.

About the Role

AAMG is currently seeking an experienced High Voltage Electrician to join a leading mining operation in the Bowen Basin.

Working within the mobile maintenance team, you will be responsible for the inspection, maintenance, fault finding, and repair of high-voltage systems on heavy mobile mining equipment while maintaining the highest safety and quality standards.
