Job summary

ISS Facility Services Australia and New Zealand is seeking DIDO Utility All Rounders for remote mining village sites across Central Queensland. Roles include Housekeeping/Cleaning Attendant and Food & Beverage/Catering Attendant with duties across resident rooms, dining areas and service points.

Applicants must have reliable transport, a current Australian Driver's Licence and be able to commute to regional site locations.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality and/or cleaning services.
• Ability to work in a team and adapt to multiple site environments.
• Current Australian driver's licence and reliable transport.
• FIFO/back-to-site readiness for regional Queensland villages.

Responsibilities

• Clean resident rooms, bathrooms and common areas.
• Provide quality food and beverage service and dining room support.
• Maintain hygiene standards and cleaning schedules.
• Cash handling and point-of-sale duties where required.
• Assist with stocking and restocking stations and equipment.

The Opportunity

We're seeking DIDO Utility All Rounders from Central Queensland for roles at remote mining village sites across regional Queensland. Candidates must have reliable transport and be able to drive themselves to and from site. Roster options include 14:7 and selected 5:2 opportunities.

As a Housekeeping or Cleaning Attendant, your responsibilities may include:

• Cleaning resident rooms, bathrooms and communal areas
• Replenishing resident room supplies and amenities
• Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting and polishing
• Waste removal and general cleaning duties
• Floor maintenance, including stripping and sealing
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness across the village

As a Food & Beverage or Catering Attendant, your responsibilities may include:

• Providing quality food and beverage service
• Assisting with food service and dining room operations
• Maintaining cleaning schedules and hygiene standards
• General bar duties where required
• Accurate cash handling in line with company procedures
• Restocking food stations, drink dispensers, crockery, cutlery and consumables
• Keeping dining and service areas clean, organised and well-presented
• Current Australian Drivers Licence & your own reliable transport
• Ability to commute from your home to our site in regional Queensland.
• An RTO recognised Food Safety Certificate SITXFSA006 - Participate in safe food handling practices
• Previous hospitality and/or cleaning experience and ability to work in a team.

Police Clearance (within last 12 months) or willing to obtain one

Ability to pass QLD Coal Board Medical and Drug & Alcohol Screen.

• Previous experience in a FIFO Housekeeping, Tavern, Dining and/or Catering will be highly regarded.
• Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate essential for all Tavern/Retail roles.
• Previous QLD Coal Board Medical
