Job summary

Iss Integrated Serv P/L is hiring Casual Utility Allrounders to support multiple mine sites across the Bowen Basin. This role offers variety through housekeeping, kitchen hand duties, dining room service, mine site cleaning and tavern operations on a casual, multi-site roster.

Ideal candidates will have remote or hospitality experience, unrestricted Australian work rights, and certifications such as Safe Food Handling, First Aid, RSA.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in remote settings or hospitality (preferred).
• Unrestricted work rights in Australia.
• Police check issued within last 12 months or willing to obtain one.
• Queensland Coal Board Medical including Functional Assessment and Drug and Alcohol clearance.
• Standard 11 surface mining induction or willing to obtain.
• Safe Food Handling Certificate is required.
• Driver's License/Photo ID required.
• Reliable transportation to and from site.
• First Aid Certificate is desirable.
• RSA Certificate is desirable.
• Forklift Licence is desirable.
• Demonstrate proactive, solutions-focused approach with excellent communication and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Help maintain a clean, welcoming and safe environment for village residents; work with team and supervisors to meet service standards.

• Perform a variety of tasks, including housekeeping, kitchen hand duties, dining room service, mine site cleaning and tavern operations.
• Help maintain a clean, welcoming, and safe environment for village residents. Work closely with team members and supervisors to meet service standards and exceed customer expectations.
• Uphold safety, cleanliness, and operational efficiency in all areas of responsibility.
