Job summary

MacKellar Group in Nyngan, NSW is seeking an experienced Maintenance Planner to coordinate maintenance activities and support equipment availability for a busy mining site. You will work closely with site maintenance and operations teams, building robust plans and schedules for reliability and safe operations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a maintenance planning role within mining or heavy industry.
• Strong understanding of maintenance scheduling, work orders and preventative maintenance.
• Experience working with maintenance management systems.
• Well-developed organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with maintenance and operations personnel.
• A proactive approach to planning, prioritising and coordinating maintenance activities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate maintenance plans and schedules for site equipment.
• Work closely with maintenance supervisors, trades and operations teams to prioritise work.
• Coordinate labour, parts, tooling and resources to support planned maintenance.
• Monitor upcoming maintenance requirements and equipment availability.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders and planning documentation.
• Identify opportunities to improve maintenance efficiency, reliability and equipment performance.
• Support compliance with site safety procedures and maintenance standards.
