Job summary

MacKellar Group is seeking an experienced Maintenance Planner for Nyngan, NSW. You will coordinate plans to optimise equipment availability, reliability and safe site operations on a 5/2/4/3 DIDO roster.

You will collaborate with site maintenance, trades and operations to ensure efficient scheduling, accurate records and adherence to safety standards within a busy mining environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance planning within mining or heavy industry
• Strong understanding of scheduling, work orders and preventive maintenance
• Experience with maintenance management systems
• Good organisational, communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with maintenance and operations teams
• Proactive planning, prioritising and coordinating maintenance

• Develop and coordinate maintenance plans and schedules for site equipment
• Work closely with maintenance supervisors, trades and operations teams to prioritise work
• Coordinate labour, parts, tooling and resources to support planned maintenance
• Monitor upcoming maintenance requirements and equipment availability
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders and planning documentation

• A proactive approach to planning, prioritising and coordinating maintenance activities.
