MacKellar is seeking an experienced Long Term Maintenance Planner to join our maintenance team and play a critical role in the long-term performance and reliability of our heavy mobile equipment fleet.
This is an opportunity to move beyond day-to-day scheduling and take ownership of component strategies, maintenance forecasting and long-range planning across a large open-cut mining operation.
You’ll work closely with site maintenance, reliability and supply teams to ensure component replacements are planned, resourced and executed at the right time — helping minimise unplanned downtime and maximise fleet availability.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for developing and continuously improving long-term maintenance plans across our HME fleet.
Your key responsibilities will include:
You’ll be a strategic and commercially minded maintenance professional who understands how effective long-term planning translates into equipment availability and operational performance.
To be successful, you’ll have:
Experience with diagnostic and OEM systems such as CAT SIS, Cummins INSITE or Liebherr LIDOS will be highly regarded.
