Job summary

MacKellar Group is seeking an experienced Maintenance Planner to join our team at Nyngan, NSW. You will coordinate maintenance plans to support equipment availability and safe site operations, working with maintenance and operations teams on a 5/2/4/3 roster.

FIFO travel from Brisbane is available, and you will contribute to a busy mining environment with a focus on reliability and performance through proactive planning and accurate records.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a maintenance planning role within mining, heavy mobile equipment or a similar heavy industry environment.
• Strong understanding of maintenance scheduling and preventative maintenance.
• Experience using maintenance management systems and planning documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate maintenance plans and schedules for site equipment.
• Work closely with maintenance supervisors, trades and operations teams to prioritise work.
• Coordinate labour, parts, tooling and resources to support planned maintenance.
• Monitor upcoming maintenance requirements and equipment availability.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders and planning documentation.
• Identify opportunities to improve maintenance efficiency, reliability and equipment performance.
• Support compliance with site safety procedures and maintenance standards.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Planner to join our team at Nyngan, NSW. Working closely with the site maintenance and operations teams, you will help coordinate maintenance activities to support equipment availability, reliability and safe site operations.

Working on a 5/2/4/3 roster, this is an opportunity to contribute to effective maintenance planning within a busy mining environment, with FIFO travel available from Brisbane.
