Job summary

Sydney Local Health District invites applications for a Registered Nurse in the Kidney Centre Dialysis Unit within the Renal Medicine service at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. You will deliver patient-centred, evidence-informed nursing care, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimise outcomes.

The role requires current nursing registration with AHPRA, strong communication skills, and the ability to work rotating AM/PM shifts.

Qualifications

• Current nursing registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA).
• Dialysis experience preferred but not essential.
• Effective interpersonal skills, excellent written and verbal communication within a multidisciplinary team.
• Understanding of evidence-informed practice and critical thinking.
• Ability to work a rotating roster across AM and PM shifts only (no night shifts).
• All candidates must have full working rights within Australia

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centred, evidence-informed nursing care to promote health outcomes.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care in collaboration with individuals and the multidisciplinary team.
• Work with the healthcare team to ensure safe and effective dialysis care.
