Job summary

NSW Health's Acute Dialysis Unit 6A at Royal North Shore Hospital is seeking Enrolled Nurses for haemodialysis care. Permanently full-time and part-time positions available with up to 38 hours per week. No dialysis experience is required — full training and support provided.

The unit cares for up to 13 patients per shift across two daily shifts, Monday to Saturday, in a modern setting. Applicants must hold current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse, have acute hospital experience, and

• Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse.
• Experience in an acute hospital environment is preferred.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide haemodialysis patient care under supervision.
• Support up to 13 patients per shift in a two-shift model.
• Deliver compassionate, safe nursing care and contribute to training.

The Acute Dialysis Unit 6A at Royal North Shore Hospital is an exciting environment for Nurses who are interested in Haemodialysis and patients with Chronic Renal Failure. The Acute Dialysis Unit is located in a new purpose built unit in the Acute Services Building and provides haemodialysis for up to 13 patients per shift with 2 patient shifts per day, Monday to Saturday. There are full time and part time positions available.

No dialysis experience necessary — full training and support provided.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:

• Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse.
• Current experience in an acute hospital environment.
• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and in a team environment.

Demonstrated communication skills, both written and verbal.
