United Rentals is the world’s largest equipment rental provider seeking an Installer to coordinate Pump and Dewatering projects across the region. You will work with branch operations and sales to ensure projects run smoothly from delivery to on-site training.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and people skills.

• Experience on construction sites.
• Advantageous to have Pumps/Dewatering or Water Treatment exposure.
• Confined Space Tickets, Water Board Inductions, Rail Industry Worker Card and Forklift HRWL are beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, deliver, and install dewatering projects on sites.
• Operate truck for pump deliveries and assist branches as needed.
• Coordinate with customers, engineers, contractors to ensure equipment suitability.
• Organise equipment quantities and types for projects and assist with logistics planning.
• Ensure installations match quotations and provide on-site training and support to customers.
• Maintain equipment, conduct inspections, and ensure timely servicing.

About the Role

The role of the Installer is to work in conjunction with the branch operations/sales team to coordinate the Pump and Dewatering projects within the region in accordance with United Rentals expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, deliver, and install dewatering related projects. Carry out required system checks of current installations for effective operation throughout project duration.
• Operate truck for pump deliveries and assist branch in other areas if required when available.
• Communicate effectively with customers, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure equipment suitability and manage project requirements.
• Organise correct quantities and types of equipment for projects, ensure availability, and assist with planning and implementation of project logistics.
• Ensure products are installed per quotation specifications, identify discrepancies, and provide on-site training and technical support to customers.
• Maintain all equipment in working order, conduct inspections of returned equipment, ensure proper testing equipment availability and manage timely servicing.
• Maintain safe work environments, conduct risk assessments, ensure valid licenses, comply with company policies and wear appropriate PPE.
• Complete accurate paperwork, manage delivery schedules, conduct damage assessments with repair scope documentation and maintain proper records.
• Identify opportunities to promote additional products and work toward optimal outcomes for both United Rentals and customers.
• Work effectively as part of a team, maintain high personal presentation standards and adopt solution-focused approaches to challenges.

• Ability to read and understand OEM maintenance documentation
• Experience with construction and/or working on sites
• Advantageous to have experience in Pumps, Dewatering or Water Treatment works
• Advantageous to have Confined Space Tickets, Water Board Inductions, Rail Industry Worker Card and Forklift HRWL.
