Job summary

BHP Technology is seeking a Development Supervisor to join the Technology Site Operations team at Saraji Mine in Central Queensland. This full-time, DIDO/Residential role supports preventative maintenance and technical field support for IT/OT systems across the site on a 7/7 day shift.

You will lead a hands-on team, manage network switches, servers, CCTV, SAP and Service Now work management, and collaborate with Production, Maintenance and Projects to ensure safe, reliable technology operations.

Qualifications

Cert 3 or Trade Certificate in Industrial Wireless Communications, Electronics or Industrial Electrical/Instrumentation.
Familiarity with Mining IT/OT networks, WiFi, servers and security applications.
Coal mine exposure would be advantageous.
SAP Work Management and Service Now familiarity.

Responsibilities

Site Responsible Person for Technology on site and ensures works follow Safe Systems of Work.
Coordinate tasks and resources to meet business priorities and safety requirements.
Hands-on role focusing on network switches, servers, CCTV, and wireless systems.
Collaborate with Production, Maintenance, Projects and remote teams to maintain IT/OT environments.
Facilitate site-based project activities with Project Managers and Site Engineering.
Lead technology change management, documentation and training within site operations.
