Job summary

Capstone Recruitment is seeking a Development Manager for a major master-planned community project in South West Sydney. You will lead delivery across planning, approvals, civil works, and settlement, coordinating with consultants and authorities to ensure on-budget and on-time outcomes.

You should bring engineering or development management experience in greenfield or subdivision projects, plus strong NSW planning knowledge and stakeholder engagement skills to drive sustainable community

Qualifications

• Proven engineering, project management or development management experience in greenfield, land subdivision or master-planned communities.
• Strong knowledge of the NSW planning and approvals framework.
• Commercial acumen with feasibility and budget management experience.
• Excellent stakeholder management across government, council and industry.
• Interest in sustainable, community-focused outcomes.

Join a respected, purpose-driven developer and help deliver one of Sydney's largest greenfield communities.
The Opportunity
This is a rare chance to help shape a large-scale, flagship master-planned community in one of South West Sydney's key growth corridors. The project will deliver thousands of new homes over multiple stages, with a strong focus on sustainability, green space and liveability.

The role
Reporting to senior leadership, you will manage the delivery of multiple stages from planning and approvals through to civil works, lot registration and settlement. You will work closely with consultants, contractors, councils and government agencies to deliver on time, on budget and to a very high standard of design and sustainability.
About you

• Proven engineering, project management or development management experience, ideally in greenfield, land subdivision or master-planned communities
• Strong knowledge of the NSW planning and approvals framework
