Job summary

Talent Butler is partnering with a well-established property organisation to appoint a Development Manager to join its high-performing development team. The role involves ownership of major residential and Build-to-Rent developments, with delivery across feasibility, design, approvals, procurement and delivery.

The successful candidate will drive development strategies, manage multidisciplinary teams and coordinate with consultants and government agencies to achieve time, cost and quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Property, Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering or related discipline.
• 5+ years' experience in residential development or client-side PM.
• Strong understanding of the development lifecycle.
• Experience on residential apartments and Build-to-Rent projects is highly regarded.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Autonomous, ownership-driven and collaborative.

Responsibilities

• Drive development strategies and project objectives.
• Manage multidisciplinary consultant and project teams.
• Progress planning and development approvals.
• Manage budgets, programmes and commercial outcomes.
• Identify and resolve project risks and issues.
• Coordinate design, procurement and delivery activities.
• Manage relationships with consultants, government agencies and project partners.
• Monitor project performance against milestones and objectives.
• Ensure projects are delivered to the required time, cost, quality and commercial outcomes.
