Job summary

Aurex is seeking an experienced Development Director to shape and progress the development potential of a diversified property investment portfolio in Sydney. The role combines strategic assessment with hands-on execution to define highest and best use, lead planning and design, progress approvals and assess JV and capital structures for each opportunity.

Qualifications

• Senior development experience across industrial, data centres and/or residential apartments.
• Strong feasibility, highest and best use assessment, planning, design and approvals.
• Experience evaluating joint ventures, development partnerships and capital arrangements.

Responsibilities

• Establish a development strategy for the portfolio, assessing highest and best use, feasibility and delivery options.
• Lead planning and design across sites, coordinating consultants and securing authority approvals.
• Progress development applications to support value uplift and inform market sounding.
• Assess opportunities for joint ventures and other capital structures with external partners.
• Appoint and manage consultants and structure contractor engagements to support delivery.
• Manage development budgets, programmes and risks and provide priority recommendations.
