Job summary

Connexus in Australia is seeking an administrator/coordinator to support a major retirement village development from design to handover. You will join a hands-on leadership team and work with the head of development and CEO, taking minutes, managing registers, and keeping documentation tight.

The role is start-up admin-heavy, with a clear path into development as you gain experience. Based in Southwest Sydney, the position is full-time in the office and offers long-term growth in the project

Qualifications

• Degree in construction management, property, project management, architecture or a related field, either finished or nearly finished.
• Up to three years in an administration or coordinator role with a builder, developer, consultancy or property business. Graduates are welcome too.
• A basic understanding of how a construction project runs from design through delivery.
• Strong organisation and attention to detail, with confidence taking minutes and managing documentation.
• Based in or within easy reach of Southwest Sydney, as the role is full-time in the office.
• You see this as a long-term career move into development, not a stopgap.

Responsibilities

• Take minutes, run the registers and keep the documentation tight.
• Track consultant costs and budgets.
• Check sales contracts against apartment numbers and inclusions.
• Build schedules like joinery types for every apartment.
• Attend project events and functions with the team.
