Job summary

Qualifications

• Proven experience in despatch, warehouse, logistics or transport management.
• Ability to plan, coordinate and manage same-day picking and despatching.
• Proven leadership experience and ability to develop a team.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to prioritise competing demands in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Sound computer skills with inventory or logistics software experience (e.g., MYOB).

• Lead, supervise and motivate the despatch team to achieve daily targets.
• Coordinate order picking, staging, loading and dispatch activities.
• Plan and schedule vehicle routes and deliveries efficiently.

• Monitor staffing requirements and allocate resources effectively.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and stock movements within company systems.
• Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety policies and procedures.

We are currently seeking to employ a full-time Despatch Manager to lead our despatch department at our beautiful nursery at Kemps Creek.

What you need to bring to the role:

• Previous experience in a despatch, warehouse, logistics or transport management position.
