Job summary

Alpine Nurseries is seeking a Despatch Manager to lead the despatch department at our Dural nursery. You will oversee day-to-day operations, coordinate picking, staging and dispatch activities, and drive efficient vehicle routing in a fast-paced logistics environment.

The role requires proven despatch/warehouse management experience, strong leadership, excellent communication, and hands-on use of inventory systems.

• Proven experience in despatch, warehouse, logistics or transport management
• Ability to plan, coordinate and manage same day picking and despatching
• Proven experience leading and developing a team
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Ability to prioritise competing demands in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• Sound computer skills and experience using inventory or logistics systems
• A proactive, hands-on approach
