Job summary

Alpine Nurseries is seeking a full-time Order Picker to join our outdoor nurseries at Dural & Arcadia. The role involves accurately picking plants and nursery products to meet customer orders and dispatch schedules, inspecting for quality, and preparing items for transport.

You will label and pack orders, verify quantities and varieties, and ensure correct customer requirements are met while working in a green outdoor setting with ongoing coaching and career progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates a positive attitude and reliable work ethic.
• Ability to apply WHS principles in the workplace and follow safety rules.
• Basic understanding of horticulture or willingness to learn is preferred.
• Capable of working in outdoor conditions across seasons.
• Able to lift, push and pull up to 20 kilograms.
• A current driver’s licence is required to operate vehicles and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pick plants and nursery products according to customer orders and dispatch schedules.
• Inspect plants to ensure quality, health, and presentation standards before dispatch.
• Label, sort, and prepare orders for transport and customer collection.
• Securely pack plants to minimise damage during transportation.
• Verify order quantities, plant varieties, and customer requirements.
• Work in outdoor nursery environments at Dural & Arcadia locations.

What you need to bring to the role:

Demonstrate a positive attitude
