Job summary

Sunshine Mitre 10 on the Sunshine Coast is looking for a Despatch Co-Ordinator to join our team and help deliver reliable service across our Queensland network. Reporting to the Site Manager, you will coordinate despatch functions, respond to customer queries and liaise with drivers and suppliers to keep orders moving and on time.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and action all incoming emails.
• Action delivery order callups.
• Monitor and action Despatch emails.
• Communication and follow up with suppliers regarding stock and special-order deliveries and eta's.
• Customer delivery communication and confirmations via phone, email, or text.
• Marking and filing of paperwork.
• Communicate job information with internal truck drivers and hire transport operators.
• Action and communicate backorders.
• Upload jobs to POD system.
• Assist with driver run setups and job allocations.
• Assist with order releases & uploads through our truck tracking system.
• Assist with logistics reporting.
• Assist with DIFOT investigation and resolution.

Job Description

The Despatch Co-Ordinator is responsible for effective operation of despatch functions. The role consists of customer service and liaison, run and delivery vehicle allocation, releasing orders, maintaining safety and quality standards and ensuring delivery in full and on time (DIFOT). The Despatch Co-Ordinator plays a pivotal role in maintaining a high standard delivery offer across the site. Reporting to the Site manager this role will be varied and require someone with great organisation skills your main responsibilities will centre around the communications to and from the logistics business to ensure our customer orders will be delivered in full on time.

The role

Ideally you will have or be
