Job summary

Sunshine Mitre 10 in Queensland seeks an experienced Store Manager to lead the Trade Drive thru and Yard operations. You will steer sales, profit margins and overall store performance, while ensuring safety and compliance.

The role involves inventory, merchandising, stock ordering, and staff rostering with a focus on development. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in a store/assistant manager role within Building & Trade, a passion for hardware, and a track record of leading teams and delivering

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a store / assistant store manager role.
• Prior experience in the Building & Trade sector.
• A focus for safety and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• A passion for the hardware and building products.

Job Description

This position will entail complete responsibility for the Trade Drive thru and Yard business.

The role

• Driving the trade business, sales and profit margins, contributing to the overall running and success of the business
• Meeting and exceeding all sales targets and KPIs of the business
• Oversee the complete operations of the inventory management, merchandising, stock ordering, and store presentation
• Training and Development
• Rostering and performance management

Ideally you will have or be

• Prior experience in the Building & Trade sector
• A focus for safety and compliance with regulatory requirements
