Job summary

Loreto Kirribilli in Sydney seeks a passionate TAS Teacher (Design and Technology) to join the Senior School (Years 7–12) in a permanent full-time role commencing Term 1, 2027. You will deliver engaging, hands-on learning that fosters creativity, innovation and problem solving.

Reporting to the Principal through the Subject Coordinator, you will differentiate instruction, collaborate on curriculum development, contribute to pastoral care and co-curricular life, and safely operate workshop tools

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications with NESA accreditation.
• Experience teaching Design and Technology in a secondary school.
• Knowledge of design processes, prototyping and product development.
• Commitment to Catholic education and Loreto tradition.

Responsibilities

• Teach Design and Technology across Years 7–12.
• Deliver engaging, hands-on learning that fosters creativity, problem-solving and product development.
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs.
• Inspire students through project-based learning and design thinking.
• Collaborate on curriculum development and contribute to school life.
• Safely use workshop tools and equipment and support student wellbeing.
