Job summary

Canberra Grammar School is seeking an engaging and innovative Design and Technology Teacher to join our Senior School for a one-term parental leave position commencing in Term 1, 2027. This role offers the opportunity to bring technology and creative problem-solving to life, teaching across Digital Technologies, CAD, robotics and coding, with support from a knowledgeable and collaborative team.

You will contribute to pastoral care and co-curricular life, with some out-of-hours commitments across

Qualifications

Strong subject knowledge in Design and Technology and related areas.
Ability to teach Digital Technologies, CAD, robotics and coding.
Experience integrating technology with problem solving to create practical solutions.
Commitment to inclusive education and student wellbeing.
Proven ability to assess, give feedback and track learning progress.

Responsibilities

Teach Design and Technology across senior years including Digital Technologies, CAD, robotics and coding.
Incorporate problem solving and practical applications to bring concepts to life.
Contribute to pastoral care and co-curricular activities within the School.
Engage with families and the school community to support student learning.
Participate in after-hours duties as required by the School calendar.
