Job summary

Pymble Ladies’ College invites an experienced TAS teacher to join its Design and Technology Department on a full-time permanent basis, commencing Term 1 2027. The successful candidate will bring innovative teaching practices and inspire students to become confident, creative problem-solvers.

Hold current NSW NESA accreditation and demonstrate the ability to teach Technology (Mandatory), Design and Technology, and Digital Technologies.

Qualifications

  • Hold current NESA accreditation and an excellent understanding of the NESA syllabus.
  • Able to teach Technology (Mandatory) and best practice for Design & Technology; Digital Technologies is desirable.
  • Willingness and confidence to deliver courses in Stages 4, 5 and 6.
  • Contribute positively and collaboratively to a successful department.
  • Commit to improving educational outcomes and differentiation.
  • Strong understanding of applying technology to enhance learning.
  • Engage in ongoing professional learning and research and reflect on teaching practice.
  • Commit to supporting student wellbeing.

Responsibilities

  • Teach TAS subjects within the Design and Technology department.
  • Deliver engaging, innovative lessons and differentiate for diverse learners.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan programs and assessments.
  • Contribute to department planning and professional learning activities.
  • Support student wellbeing and a positive learning environment.
