Job summary

Ventia is seeking an experienced Telepower Design Supervisor to lead a design team delivering telecommunications projects across Queensland. Based in Stapylton with hybrid flexibility, you will collaborate with Telstra partners and manage design delivery for telepower works.

You will mentor designers, act as technical escalation, review design docs, and report regional progress while driving continuous improvement across processes and systems.

Qualifications

• Experience leading design teams within the telecommunications or telepower industry.
• Electrical Engineering qualification or Electrical Trade background.
• Strong understanding of telepower design and project delivery environments.
• Proven stakeholder management and client-facing experience.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, with Excel expertise highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and allocate work across a team of designers and project coordinators.
• Act as the key technical escalation point for telepower design activities.
• Review, approve and oversee the delivery of high quality design documentation.
• Liaise with clients and delivery partners while providing regional reporting.
• Monitor project schedules, workloads and design performance to meet delivery targets.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across systems, processes and design delivery.
