Job summary

SA Power Networks is seeking a Design Standards Manager on a two year fixed term contract to lead the Design Standards Team, governance and continuous improvement of design standards including E-Drawings and compatible units.

The role aims to drive standardisation, reduce design complexity and provide technical direction to drafting officers, ensuring assemblies integrate with new systems and remain compliant for Line Designers.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering Design or equivalent level of skills and knowledge gained through experience.
• Experience with technology application deployment and business process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Leads the Design Standards Team and governs continuous improvement of design standards.
• Oversees E-Drawings, Compatible Units and assembly libraries for powerline design.
• Drives standardisation and provides technical direction to drafting officers.
• Ensures standard assemblies are integrated with emerging systems and compliant for Line Designers.
