SA Power Networks is seeking a Design Standards Manager on a two year fixed term contract to lead the Design Standards Team, governance and continuous improvement of design standards including E-Drawings and compatible units.

The role aims to drive standardisation, reduce design complexity and provide technical direction to drafting officers, ensuring assemblies integrate with new systems and remain compliant for Line Designers.

Competenze

• Diploma in Engineering Design or equivalent level of skills and knowledge gained through experience.
• Experience with technology application deployment and business process improvement.

About the role

We are seeking a Design Standards Manager to join the team on an initial two year fixed term contract.

The Design Standards Manager leads the Design Standards Team, overseeing the governance and continuous improvement of SA Power Networks' design standards, including E-Drawings, Compatible Units and assembly libraries for powerline design. The role has been created to drive standardisation, reduce design complexity, and provide technical direction and leadership to drafting officers, ensuring standard assemblies can be readily integrated with new emerging systems, whilst remaining compliant and fit for purpose for Line Designers.
