Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed mechanical design drawings and documentation using Revit and AutoCAD
• Translate engineering concepts, sketches, and mark-ups into clear and accurate technical drawings
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure design coordination and quality
• Maintain drawing registers and ensure document control standards are followed
• Assist with developing and maintaining drafting standards and templates
• Support project delivery from concept through to construction documentation

This business continues to grow and are looking for a skilled Design Engineer to join our Sydney-based team. This is a full-time, permanent role based at Sydney Olympic Park, where you'll work closely with engineers and project managers to develop accurate, detailed mechanical drawings and specifications. Your work will support the successful design and delivery of complex infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

• As Design Engineer you will produce detailed mechanical design drawings and documentation using Revit and AutoCAD
• This Design Engineer will translate engineering concepts, sketches, and mark-ups into clear and accurate technical drawings
• The Design Engineer will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure design coordination and quality
• As the Design Engineer you will maintain drawing registers and ensure document control standards are followed
• Assist with developing and maintaining drafting standards and templates
• The Design Engineer will support project delivery from concept through to construction documentation

About You

• Proven experience as a Design Engineer, ideally 3+ years
• Advanced skills in Revit and AutoCAD are essential
• Strong knowledge of mechanical services, HVAC systems, and general building services
• Experience working within the critical facilities, data centre, or commercial infrastructure sectors is highly regarded
• High attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality documentation
• Ability to work collaboratively within a project team and meet tight deadlines
