Job summary

Appoint in Brisbane is seeking a Building Designer, Architectural Designer, Architectural Draftsperson or Design Coordinator to join our team. You'll develop concepts, layouts and documentation for remote workforce accommodation projects, working with the wider project team from concept through to delivery.

This hands-on role uses Revit and AutoCAD for design and drafting, includes coordination with architects, engineers and consultants, and offers permanent, full-time employment with

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in architecture, design, building design or a related discipline.
• Experience across commercial or residential building design, architectural draughting or design coordination.
• Advanced capability using Revit and AutoCAD.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Demonstrated experience developing layouts and design documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop workforce accommodation concepts, camp configurations, village layouts and supporting infrastructure plans
• Prepare concept plans, site layouts and design documentation using Revit and AutoCAD
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, suppliers and project teams throughout the design process
• Review drawings, specifications and consultant documentation for accuracy, compliance and completeness
• Support tenders and project delivery through design reviews, technical information, walkthroughs, design registers and change management

The Opportunity

Appoint is seeking a Building Designer, Architectural Designer, Architectural Draftsperson or Design Coordinator to join this Brisbane team.

Reporting to the Managing Director, you'll develop concepts, layouts and design documentation for remote workforce accommodation projects, working closely with the wider project team.

This hands-on role covers design, drafting, consultant coordination, tender support and documentation, giving you the opportunity to contribute from concept through to delivery.

Duties

• Develop workforce accommodation concepts, camp configurations, village layouts and supporting infrastructure plans
• Prepare concept plans, site layouts and design documentation using Revit and AutoCAD
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, suppliers and project teams throughout the design process
• Review drawings, specifications and consultant documentation for accuracy, compliance and completeness
• Support tenders and project delivery through design reviews, technical information, walkthroughs, design registers and change management

Skills and Experience

• A tertiary qualification in architecture, design, building design or a related discipline
• Experience across commercial or residential building design, architectural draughting or design coordination
