Job summary

Design & Build Recruitment is seeking a Graduate Architect to join their Brisbane office, working on modular and prefabricated building solutions with a focus on workforce accommodation camps and village layouts.

The role requires 3+ years in practice, strong Revit and AutoCAD skills, and collaboration with project teams to deliver design concepts through to construction documentation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in a professional architecture practice.
• Strong technical skills in Revit, AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Experience with modular projects is highly desirable.
• Strong documentation and project coordination abilities.
• Proactive, collaborative approach with a focus on high-quality outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Develop workforce accommodation camps and village layouts.
• Prepare detailed architectural documentation and construction drawings
• Produce concept plans, site layouts, and design documentation.
• Coordinate with external consultants, suppliers, and project teams throughout the design process.
• Resolve technical and construction-related issues
• Ensure designs comply with Australian Standards, building regulations, and project specifications.
• Support tender submissions with design concepts, layouts, technical information and walkthroughs.

They provide end-to-end project capability, facility design, planning and approvals through to construction of modular and prefabricated building solutions, facilities management and ongoing camp operations. This role will suit someone who thrives in fast paced environments, strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability as the business is continuously growing.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop workforce accommodation camps and village layouts.


• Prepare detailed architectural documentation and construction drawings


• Produce concept plans, site layouts, and design documentation.
