Job summary

Anaman Pty in Brisbane, with offices in Milton, seeks an experienced Designer/Architect to develop high-quality visual content and designs that strengthen our brand and showcase our projects and capabilities in remote workforce solutions.

Reporting to the Managing Director, you will collaborate across Operations, Submissions and Pre Construction teams to ensure designs comply with Australian standards, coordinate design reviews, and support tender submissions.

Job description

An opportunity exists for an experienced Designer/Architect to join our team. Based in our Brisbane and Milton office, this role will support the business by developing high-quality visual content that strengthens our brand, supports submissions, and showcases our projects and capabilities.

Reporting to theManaging Director, you will work closely with the Operations, Submissions and Pre Construction teams, as well as key stakeholders across the wider business.

About the Role

• Design and development of workforce accommodation camps and village layouts.
• Prepare concept plans, site layouts, and design documentation.
• Liaise with architects, engineers, consultants, suppliers, and project teams throughout the design process.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant Australian Standards, building regulations, and project specifications.
• Coordinate design reviews and manage changes throughout project delivery.
• Support tender submissions with design concepts, layouts, technical information, and walkthroughs.
• Review drawings, specifications, and consultant deliverables for accuracy and completeness.
• Assist with product selection, accommodation configurations, infrastructure planning, and camp amenity design.
• Maintain project documentation, schedules, and design registers.
• Support continuous improvement and innovation in camp design solutions.

About You

• Tertiary educated in Design, Architecture or related field
• Experienced in commercial or residential construction building design
• Advanced skills in Revit and Auto Cad
• Experience using Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign, Illustrator and photo shop
• Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing deadlines
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
