Job summary

ACCIONA is seeking a Design Coordinator to support the successful delivery of multidisciplinary engineering designs across Australia. You will coordinate design inputs, manage interfaces, track deliverables, and help deliver practical, buildable solutions on complex projects.

This role offers exposure to renewable energy, transmission, transport and civil infrastructure, working closely with the Design Manager and project stakeholders to achieve project goals.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in engineering design, design coordination, or a related project environment.
• Experience working within multidisciplinary design teams on infrastructure, construction, energy, or transport projects.
• Strong organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Understanding of design reviews, technical interfaces, deliverable management, and design documentation processes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate multidisciplinary design inputs, deliverables, reviews, and project interfaces across major infrastructure projects.
• Support design planning, programme management, action tracking, and design documentation processes.
• Work closely with engineers, consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders to ensure design requirements are understood and delivered.
• Assist in identifying, managing, and resolving design issues, risks, and technical interfaces.
• Maintain design registers, monitor progress, and contribute to effective engineering delivery outcomes.
