Job summary

ACCIONA in Australia is seeking a Design Coordinator to support multidisciplinary engineering designs across major infrastructure and energy projects. You will work with the Design Manager and stakeholders to coordinate inputs, track deliverables, and help deliver buildable solutions.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering or related discipline.
• Proven experience in engineering design, design coordination, or related project environment.
• Experience working with multidisciplinary design teams on infrastructure, construction, energy, or transport projects.
• Strong organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Understanding of design reviews, technical interfaces, deliverable management, and design documentation processes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate multidisciplinary design inputs, deliverables, reviews, and project interfaces across major infrastructure projects.
• Support design planning, programme management, action tracking, and design documentation processes.
• Work with engineers, consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders to ensure design requirements are understood and delivered.
• Assist in identifying, managing, and resolving design issues, risks, and technical interfaces.
• Maintain design registers, monitor progress, and contribute to effective engineering delivery outcomes.
