King Living is opening a brand new showroom in Maroochydore and seeks a Design Consultant to guide customers through their biggest home decisions. You will build genuine relationships, showcase design expertise, and support showroom standards from day one.

Qualifications

• Regular weekend work; essential for role.
• Proven sales experience in retail, furniture, textiles or interior design.
• Genuine interest in design and how people live at home.
• Confident written and verbal communication with a long sales journey mindset.
• Ability to build lasting customer relationships and sell effectively.

Responsibilities

• Deliver consultative customer experience face-to-face and over the phone.
• Follow up leads, quotes and enquiries and convert them with the team.
• Develop design and product expertise to help customers visualise with space planning.
• Maintain showroom presentation per Visual Merchandising standards.
• Use in-house systems to process orders accurately (configurations, fabrics, measurements, lead times).
