Job summary

Tallentire O'Flynn Movsowitz is seeking an Associate Director, Derivatives Sales (Interest Rates, FX & Commodities) to own and grow a cross‑ANZ derivatives portfolio. You will deliver risk management solutions to a diverse client base, with exposure to IR, FX, and commodities, and work closely with senior stakeholders and relationship teams.

You will mentor colleagues and contribute to strategic initiatives while driving revenue growth and client outcomes.

Qualifications

Degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting, Law, or related discipline.
RG146 compliant with AFMA accreditation (or equivalent).
Proven experience in interest rate and/or derivatives sales.
Strong understanding of interest rate products and risk management.
Experience with FX and commodity markets is valued.
Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to manage a portfolio independently while collaborating with teams.

Responsibilities

Originate and execute interest rate derivative transactions across an allocated client portfolio.
Develop understanding of client exposures and risk management needs.
Provide tailored hedging and risk management solutions aligned to client objectives.
Identify opportunities across interest rates, FX, and commodities.
Drive product growth and achieve revenue targets.
Maintain strong client relationships throughout the transaction life cycle.
Ensure solutions comply with regulatory, governance, and product suitability frameworks.
Mentor junior team members and contribute to a strong sales culture.
